06/ 16/ 05 Night of Cows

June 9th was the day when Bratislava’s cows had the first opportunity to shine in the courtyard of the Primated’s Palace and to present themselves to the guests of the “Night of Cows”, a VIP event organized by CowParade.

The moderator of the evening was Adela Banášová and the Night of Cows was happy to recieve over 200 guests. We have been honored by the presence of: Mr. Andrej Ďurkovský, the mayor of Bratislava; Mr. Robert Chvátal, the general manager of T-Mobile Slovensko, Mr. Juraj Jakubisko and Mr. Peter Dvorský and many more artists and sponsors, whose cows have come at last to the streets of Bratislava, as well as the partners of CowParade Bratislava 2005.

The event was special not only for it’s unique guests and jolly atmosphere, but also for the auction of the first Bratislava cow. The Hockey cow, with signatures of the National hockey team of Slovakia, has been sold for 60.000 Sk and will help the disabled children of Special Elementary School in Trnava. CowParade and the SES Trnava are would like to thank Atelier Cakov-Makara who are the successful bidder of the evening.
